A pediatrician with specialization on neonatology. Founder of Surya Kanti Foundation for early detection-intervention of child development. Was appointed Director of WHO Collaborating Center for Prenatal Care, Maternal and Child Health under University of Padjadjaran.

currently engaged as Research Fellow in Department of Human Nutrition University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. Her previous experiences include researcher in Nutrition Working Group, Padjadjaran University, Bandung, Indonesia and Tutor in School of Population Health, University of Queensland, Brisbane. She was also certified and served Unicef project as Breastfeeding Counsellor and Community Based Therapeutic Care (CTC). Most recently she was involved in a research project on “Adequacy of Micronutrient Intakes and Status of Breastfed Indonesian Fed Traditional Complementary Foods”.

During her days as engineering student, she started to engage in non-profit sector as volunteer and consultant, helping mainly communication works such as translation, scripting, copywriting, document editing, and proofreading. From year 2009-2019 she served as consultant for global organization focusing on social innovation.

Trained in anthropology, she has served as facilitator, surveyor, and administrator of various health project. Between 1998-2003 she was secretary of WHO-CC for Perinatal, Maternal and Child Health under Padjadjaran University, Bandung.
