Yayasan Cakrawala Kesehatan
FRONTIERS FOR HEALTH

Cakrawala Kesehatan Foundation (YCK), also known as Frontiers for Health (F2H), is a non-profit organization established in 2003. F2H focuses on developing research-based maternal-child, adolescent, and early childhood education programs. The foundation was initiated by Prof. Em. Dr. Anna Alisjahbana, dr., Sp.A (K), along with five co-founders from various disciplines (health, management, anthropology, psychology, and communication). The foundation stemmed from the founders’ concern about the disparity in health services and early childhood development in urban and rural areas.
The founders were previously researchers at the WHO-Collaborating Centre for PMC (Perinatal, Maternal, and Child Health) at Padjadjaran University. F2H’s significant contribution at the national level was the modification of Posyandu activities into the Taman Posyandu program in 1999, which spanned 10 locations in Tanjung Sari, Sumedang Regency, adding child development aspects and nine important messages for parents.
The Taman Pos Yandu program was introduced at the International forum in October 2003 in Bangkok, Thailand and received the award for “Best overall on the Integrated Regional Forum on Early Childhood Development (ECCD).
In collaboration with donors, F2H introduced, trained and evaluated this program in various provinces, and was finally adopted by the central government as the PAUD-HI (Holistic-Integrative Early Childhood Development) program as stipulated in Presidential Regulation NO.60/2013.
