Taman Posyandu/Adituka Program (Early Child Development Care)

Taman Posyandu/ The Adituka program aims to optimize children’s overall growth and development, including physical growth, emotional development, intelligence, independence, and the ability to socialize and interact with parents, family, and the community. The program aims to create a healthy, cheerful, high-achieving, sociable generation of young people capable of developing their full potential. The program also contributes to equitable access to health and education services, particularly in rural areas.

The ADITUKA program consists of five aspects:

1. Community Empowerment
This is the most important aspect, as only with the support of parents, the community, and the local government can this program succeed.

2. Integrated Health Posts (Posyandu)
This program aspect involves mentoring cadres to carry out Posyandu activities (registration, weighing, completing the Community Health Card (KMS), counseling, and immunization). We also simplified the recording and reporting system to make it easier for cadres.

3. Nine Messages for Home Care
This aspect is designed to introduce healthy behaviors and support child development. The program is structured into nine messages, starting with care for pregnant women, childbirth, and postpartum, and the role of parents in protecting, loving, educating, and stimulating children at home, especially up to the age of two.

4. Early Childhood Education (PAUD)
This is an early childhood education and stimulation program with activities conducted 1-3 times a week. Here, children play and learn, led by trained cadres, through activities designed to stimulate the development, intelligence, and skills of children aged 2-4 years.

5. Early Detection of Growth and Development (DDTK)
In collaboration with the Surya Kanti Foundation, we developed a simple method to detect children experiencing developmental delays as early as possible. Cadres are trained to detect and stimulate children with developmental delays.
